i’m going to decorate my room help?

Question by : i’m going to decorate my room help?
i have one purple wall and the rest corn yellow. i have a bookcase inside a closet that had the door taken off and on top of the doorframe is this string clay-supposed-to-be-a-necklace-thing i made 4years ago in art class it all these little charms like an earth, cheese, etc although most of them are all broken. i have a normal bed with a headboard i drew on. i have a poster wall behind my desk with a general colour of black as they are all rock and indie bands. then i have this clock in the middle of it http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.o… and i bought this http://mondomundi.com/store/images/IMGP0… dunno where to put it…. what else could i buy/ do to my room to make it look really cool and eccentric and stuff?

Also what kind of theme would that clock and wall thingy come under like modern room, girly room, vintage room…?

there are different ways by which you can easily decorate your room. it depends upon your taste that which kind of color combination and designing schemes are being liked by you. the best way is to go with vintage posters and you can easily get these posters from http://www.juliasantengallery.com.

Some good colors to go with magenta are not the same as good colors for maroon. Magenta is a hot color that goes well with orange-red, turquoise, kelly, goldenrod, eggshell, and the other colors of a Mexican color palette. Maroon is a reddish-purple with a brownish quality, rather like burgundy, but a little brighter. It looks well with colors like hunter green (or something just a bit lighter than hunter, perhaps dark pistachio, depending on how dark a maroon), royal blue, just maybe with old gold or a beige-tan.
